Digby Privacy Policy

We know that you care about how your personal information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") that you disclose in order to use our services.

When you register to use our services, you are required to input personal information into your hand held device. Certain information, such as your name, address and contact information will be stored on both your device and on our servers. Other information, such as your credit card information, will be permanently stored only on your device. However, whenever you place an order your credit card information, as well as other relevant personal information (name, address, etc.), will be transmitted through our servers and the Internet to the applicable merchant. After your order is placed, we will maintain a copy of it for customer service purposes, but your credit card information will be truncated (e.g., *******1234). We have no control over what information merchants collect or what they do with the information collected, and any information provided to merchants as a result of our services, and/or your purchases, will be governed by and subject to their privacy policies, if any.

We will store your email address and may use it to communicate with you regarding features of the services we offer, special offers and other reasons related to our relationship. If you do not wish to receive communications regarding special offers or other services, please notify us via email and we will remove you from our list.

We may release Personal Information when we believe in good faith that release is necessary to comply with the law, enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Digby, our employees, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Your account is protected on your device by a password for your privacy and security. You should prevent unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and by limiting access to your device. We are not responsible for misuse of Personal Information obtained by others who have had access to your device and/or your account.

We use industry-standard methods, including without limitation software, to protect the security of your Personal Information stored on our servers and during transmission to merchants.

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. You can always access this Privacy Policy by clicking the link in the "About" section of the software loaded on your device. We may also notify you of changes via email or other electronic notification.
