Dave Sikora
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Founded Digby in 2006, with a goal to accelerate the convergence of mobility and electronic commerce. Over 25 years of experience in the software industry with proven track record of value creation. Prior to founding Digby, was President and CEO of Pervasive Software (Nasdaq: PVSW), an Austin, Texas based data infrastructure software company. Joined Pervasive after 4 years of declining revenues with a mission to turn around the business and expand into new markets. During 4-year tenure at Pervasive, grew market capitalization 4 fold, originated and completed 2 acquisitions and averaged a 15% net income margin. Before joining Pervasive, served as Chairman and CEO of several leading software companies, including Question Technologies and Ventix Systems, both of which were acquired by Motive Communications, a division of Alcatel Lucent. In addition, served as President and CEO of Houston-based ForeFront Group, Inc., a leading provider of e-Learning software for information technology professionals. During the six years at ForeFront, led the company through an initial public offering in 1995, the first Internet software IPO in the state of Texas, 4 acquisitions and a merger with CBT Systems (Nasdaq:CBTSY) in 1998 in a transaction valued at $162m. In addition to successful operating experience, also has served as a Director for several private and public technology companies, including TippingPoint Technologies (acq by 3Com, NASDAQ:COMS), ClearOrbit (acq by TAKE Solutions, BSE:TAKE), AG-Tech Ltd. (Japanese joint venture partner of Pervasive Software), Troux Technologies and Powered, Inc. Also served as an original member of Texas Governor Rick Perry’s Technology Advisory Council, and was awarded Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for Software.
Mike Dansby
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Digby he was a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Business Consulting LLC, and served as the National Practice Leader for Accounting Advisory and Remediation Services. He specialized in interim management, financial process reengineering and merger & acquisition support across multiple industry sectors, including high technology manufacturing, energy, mining, construction, apparel, software, and aerospace / defense. Previously, Mr. Dansby served as CFO with several venture-backed companies including Hire.com and Question Technologies, as well as Controller for Trilogy, Inc. He also spent over eight years in various capacities with United Technologies Corporation including CFO of a semiconductor subsidiary. He currently serves on the board of Tego, Inc., an RFID tag innovator and supplier. Mike began his career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with Arthur Andersen & Co. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.
Keno Helmi
Chief Revenue Officer
Keno joined Digby as Chief Sales Officer with responsibility for worldwide field operations. With more than 16 years of high-tech sales experience, he has held senior leadership roles at companies including Clarify, Amdocs, and Opsware. Most recently, Keno ran the Global Accounts Organization at HP Software with a revenue responsibility of $500 million and managed a team of over 120 sales professionals. Keno holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a minor in English and a Master of Science in economics from Auburn University.
Eric Newman
Vice President of Products & Marketing
As Vice President of Products & Marketing, Eric helps brands leverage the power of the Digby Localpoint Mobile Platform with focus on leveraging location, marketing, commerce and analytics. During his 18 year career, Eric has ridden the cutting edge of a number of online revolutions at a variety of successful startups including Pluck (now part of Demand Media), Powered, DataBeam (now part of IBM) Direct Hit (now part of Ask Jeeves) and Question Technologies (now part of Motive Corporation). He holds an M.B.A. degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and B.A. degrees in Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Cincinnati.
Peter Nuernberg
Senior Director of Engineering
Peter Nuernberg has over 20 years professional experience in a variety of industries including education, mobile technology, software development and aerospace. Peter has served as the Chief Technical Officer for the Texas Digital Library and the President of Neosententia, a software consulting company. Further, he has worked as a professor at the Aalborg University in Denmark, the Technical University of Graz and the University of Houston. Peter’s written work appears in a number of publications including the ACM Transactions on Information Systems, The New Review of Hypermedia & Multimedia and The Journal of Network and Computer Applications. Peter holds a PhD, M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science, all from Texas A&M University.
